Hypnotherapy is a specialist therapy working distinctly with the conscious and sub conscious mind.
Your therapist will use hypnosis (please see Hypnosis page) to enable them to dialogue with your
sub conscious mind. Your sub conscious mind allows you to function automatically, without having to think about everything you do.
An example of this would be, making a cup of tea or driving a car. Do you consciously remember, telling your hand or body to perform every move? No, because once you have learned the actions, then it becomes automatic.
Your therapist may also work with your issue using hypnoanalysis. This involves going back to root causes of events, that may link to your issues today.
