About Me

Thank you for taking the time to review my website. My name is Kim Tolley and I manage Executive Counselling. I have been a counsellor for over ten years now and am very passionate about my work and the people who are courageously striving to improve their emotional and physical well-being.

I am educated to Masters degree level in counselling and below you will find a list of my relevant qualifications and the professional bodies that I am registered with. It is essential when seeking any therapist that you check out their qualifications and professional memberships to ensure you receive a quality assured service from a qualified and insured person. I am committed to my own on-going training and undertake many CPD courses to further enhance my skills.Currently I am undertaking an international certificate in traumatology. I aim to progress toward a PhD qualification application shortly. I attend monthly clinical supervision with a qualified supervisor to ensure that my work meets all the ethical individual safety and professional standards required by my professional bodies. I have worked in a range of environments including trauma,bereavement, mental health, addictions, victim support, relationship and couple therapy, abuse and higher education. What ever your issue I will work with you to support you onwards to understanding and self awareness and promote your own self efficacy and autonomy. I am an integrative counsellor and use pschodynamic, person centred, behavioural and systemic approaches within my work.
