Initial Contact and Appointment
Please telephone to arrange an initial appointment. You will be asked for some basic information, to enable us to assess, if our services will meet your needs. We will then arrange an initial appointment, where you can discuss matters in more depth with your dedicated counsellor or therapist.
Appointments
Appointments last for one hour of which fifty minutes will be counselling or therapy
Appointment rearrangements, postponements or cancellations
You must give your counsellor or therapist a minimum of 48 hours notice, or you will be charged in full
Confidentiality
Your appointments will be strictly confidential, unless there is a disclosed risk of harm to yourself or another person. We will seek to discuss any concerns with you and work together to support your/others safety.
All documentation will be kept according to Data Protection regulations.
Ethics and Concerns
All practitioners operate within the codes of ethics, for the professional bodies of which they are members. Links to these bodies can be found on the Professional information page. If you have any concerns or complaints please speak or write directly to your counsellor/therapist. If your issues are not resolved then it is possible to refer to the professional organisations your practitioner is a member of. We operate within local authority and legislative guidance for Safeguarding children and POVA.
Payment and Fees
Our minimum fees are £48 per hour for counselling, £55 for clinical hypnotherapy, £75 for hypnoanalysis, £150 for a smoking cessation session (double session)
We ask that at the end of your initial appointment, you pay for that session and your next session in advance.
Payment can be made by cheque (with a valid bank card) or cash or through Paypal. To pay using Paypal you must complete the enquiry form page detailing your name, date and time of your appointment and provide us with a valid email address. We will send you a request for payment through Paypal to your email address. All Paypal payments must be received 48 hours before your appointment.
